Couples Fast Track Therapy
The depth of traditional couples therapy. A more focused, flexible way to get there.
Couples Fast Track isn't a shortcut.
It's just more efficient.
Instead of limiting your relationship work to 50 minutes once a week, you'll have a structure for continuing that work in the place where your relationship actually happens, your everyday life.
And when we meet, we can focus our time where it matters most.
You know your relationship needs attention. But finding a weekly therapy appointment that consistently works for two busy schedules can be difficult, especially when evenings and weekends are already full.
This structured couples therapy program combines comprehensive, guided relationship work you complete together at home with six private couples therapy sessions with me.
The program is designed to cover material we would typically work through over 18 traditional couples therapy sessions ,in just six sessions together, with guided modules and exercises completed between appointments.
Instead of spending valuable therapy time learning every concept or completing every exercise in session, you'll do much of the education and structured skill-building at home. Then we'll use our time together for the work that benefits most from having an experienced couples therapist in the room.
How Couples Fast Track Works
Relationship Assessment
We begin with the Gottman Relationship Checkup, a research-based relationship assessment that gives us an in-depth look at your relationship before we begin our work together. The Checkup helps identify your relationship's strengths, challenges, patterns, and areas that may need additional attention, allowing me to tailor our work specifically to the two of you.
Guided Work at Home
You and your partner move through a comprehensive series of Gottman-based relationship modules, conversations, and exercises using your computer — approximately 18 sessions' worth of material. You complete this work together when it fits your schedules.
Six Private Couples Therapy Sessions With Me
Rather than spending the majority of our sessions teaching concepts you can learn through the guided modules, we use our time together strategically. We focus on your relationship, identifying patterns, navigating difficult conversations, addressing places where you're stuck, practicing new skills, and applying what you're learning specifically to the two of you.
We will typically meet once a month, after you have completed approximately two modules, giving you time between sessions to learn, practice, and apply the material in your everyday relationship.
Your six private sessions can be completed virtually or in person, based on availability.
You’ll also receive priority scheduling for any additional therapy appointments you may want or need for up to one year from the date of your program purchase.
Relationship Re-Assessment
At the completion of Fast Track, you'll complete a post-program Gottman Relationship Checkup. This allows us to revisit the areas assessed at the beginning of the program, explore what has changed, and identify areas of growth.
Together, your pre- and post-program assessments give us a clear picture of where your relationship is when we begin, help me personalize our work to your unique relationship, and allow us to measure your progress when the program is complete.

Why Fast Track?
Traditional couples therapy asks us to fit everything into the therapy hour.
Education. Skill-building. Exercises. Conflict work. Processing. Practice. Connection.
That can take time.
Fast Track moves much of the education and guided skill-building outside of the therapy room.
Instead of using an appointment to introduce a relationship concept, you'll arrive already familiar with it. Instead of spending our entire session completing a structured exercise, you may begin that work together at home and bring the places where you're struggling directly into therapy.
That allows us to use our sessions more intentionally.
You'll still do the work. We're simply using our time differently.
And because much of the program happens outside of appointments, your relationship work doesn't have to happen at 7:00 p.m. on a Tuesday simply because that's when a therapist has an opening.
Complete the guided portions when it works for the two of you and schedule your six private sessions during my available clinical hours.
Your Fast Track Relationship Roadmap
14 guided modules • 41 relationship exercises • 90 expert-led videos
-
Introduction to the Gottman Method
Start by learning the research behind strong, lasting relationships. You'll explore the Sound Relationship House and begin looking at your own relationship through a new lens .
-
The Four Horsemen
You'll learn to identify four destructive patterns that can take over during conflict (criticism, contempt, defensiveness, and stonewalling) and practice healthier alternatives.
-
Calming Conflict
Conflict is inevitable. How you handle it makes the difference. You'll learn how to slow difficult conversations down, recognize the emotions driving your reactions, bring up concerns more effectively, and talk about problems without allowing them to spiral out of control.
-
Connecting Through Conflict
Sometimes the argument isn't really about what you're arguing about. You'll learn how to uncover the deeper needs, values, and dreams underneath recurring conflicts, understand your partner's perspective, accept influence from one another, and find compromise when you've been stuck.
-
Loving Outloud
It's easy for affection and appreciation to get lost in the demands of everyday life. This module helps you become more intentional about expressing fondness, admiration, affection, and appreciation so that connection becomes something you actively experience.
-
Aftermath of a Fight
What happens after an argument matters. You'll learn a structured way to revisit a fight or regrettable interaction once emotions have settled, understand each person's experience, take responsibility for your part, and identify what could help the conversation go differently next time.
-
Repairing Conflict
When emotions become overwhelming, productive communication can become nearly impossible. You'll learn to recognize flooding in yourself and your partner, regulate your emotions, take effective breaks, and use repair attempts to prevent a difficult conversation from becoming a damaging one.
-
Showing Up
Strong relationships aren't built only through big gestures. They're built through hundreds of small daily moments. You'll learn to recognize your partner's bids for connection and intentionally create more moments of appreciation and connection.
-
Effective Listening
Good communication isn't only about saying things better. It's also about learning how to listen. You'll practice listening with curiosity and empathy, responding to your partner's emotions, and having conversations about outside stress without automatically offering advice or solutions.
-
Goals and Dreams
Your relationship should be a place where both partners' hopes and ambitions can exist. You'll explore your individual dreams, identify shared goals, and learn how to support one another while creating a clearer vision for the life you're building together.
-
Trust and Commitment
Trust isn't built through one grand gesture. It's created through the choices you make toward one another every day. You'll explore what trust and commitment look like in practice, identify behaviors that strengthen or erode security, and learn how to intentionally protect your relationship.
-
Finding Joy Togther
Relationships can easily become consumed by work, parenting, schedules, chores, and responsibilities. You'll intentionally bring fun, play, adventure, and connection back into your relationship while creating rituals that help you stay connected even during busy seasons of life.
-
Gottman Conflict Blueprint
Instead of entering difficult conversations without a plan, you'll have a structured process for working through them. You'll bring together the skills you've learned around communication, deeper needs, compromise, and repair to approach an important area of conflict differently.
-
Enriching Your Sex Life
A fulfilling sex life begins with being able to communicate about it. You'll explore your preferences, desires, boundaries, intimacy, and sensuality while learning how emotional safety and connection can create the foundation for a more satisfying sexual relationship.

Want more structure than traditional open-ended couples therapy
Have difficulty coordinating two schedules for weekly appointments

Are motivated to work on your relationship outside of the therapy room
Want to strengthen communication, intimacy, trust, and connection

Then, we’re off and running.
What makes Couples Fast Track different?
Couples Fast Track is different from traditional couples therapy because the work doesn't stop when your therapy session ends.
Instead of relying on a weekly 50-minute appointment to learn new concepts, practice skills, and work through relationship challenges, Fast Track combines guided learning at home with focused, personalized therapy sessions. You and your partner continue learning, talking, and practicing between our appointments, allowing us to make more intentional use of our time together.
The program also provides a clear roadmap. Rather than wondering what you'll talk about each week or how long you'll be in therapy, you'll move through a structured, research-based curriculum addressing the areas that matter most in long-term relationships .
With approximately 18 sessions' worth of guided material, six private therapy sessions, and pre- and post-program relationship assessments, Fast Track gives us multiple ways to work on your relationship without requiring months of weekly appointments.
It's an especially good option for busy couples who want meaningful support but need greater flexibility. Complete your guided work when it fits your schedules, then bring what you're learning, and where you're getting stuck, into our sessions together.
You’ll also receive priority scheduling for any additional therapy appointments you may want or need for up to one year from the date of your program purchase.
A Different Way to Think About Couples Therapy
Weekly couples therapy can sometimes mean spending the beginning of each appointment catching up on what happened since the last session — only to run out of time just as you're getting somewhere important.
Fast Track is designed to keep the work moving between appointments.
You're learning.
You're practicing.
You're having conversations.
You're noticing your patterns.
And when we meet, we can focus on the areas where you need professional guidance rather than starting over each week.
Think of it as the difference between doing all of the work during therapy and having therapy guide the work you're doing throughout your real life.
